The Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino is one of the favorite casino destinations in Cripple Creek. It opened in 1992 and was the first of three Cripple Creek casinos owned by Triple Crown Casinos, along with The Brass Ass Casino and McGill’s Hotel & Casino. All three are connected so you can easily walk between the three properties.

The property is elegant and grand with Victorian-style decor. At the Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino, you will find a two-floor games room with nearly 350 slot machines. They also have an 8-table poker room and host regular tournaments at weekends, and live poker throughout the week, making it the poker destination in Cripple Creek.

Although the Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino is not home to table games such as Blackjack, Roulette, and Craps, they do host poker. The casino has the largest poker room in Cripple Creek with 8-tables covering the following games:

The Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino also hosts poker tournaments every weekend covering the popular Texas Hold’Em, but also tournaments of Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo and Omaha Hi-Lo variations. With the range of different stakes and games, the Midnight Rose is the best poker spot in town.

Sportsbook Services

As of 1^st May 2020, sports gambling is legal in Colorado. This allows anyone inside the state to place wagers on sporting events, at either retail or online sportsbooks, despite the currently limited sports schedule. The Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino has had its sports betting license approved and so will likely roll out its onsite sportsbook in the near future. At present, they do not offer sports betting services at their retail property.

The Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino has also partnered with ROAR Digital who are operating the casino’s online sportsbook under the BetMGM site. BetMGM was one of the first sportsbooks to launch in Colorado, making its debut on 1^st May 2020 along with FanDuel Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, and BetRivers. Hotel

Attached to the Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino is a 59-room hotel with a range of room types to choose from located directly above the casino. You can choose from queen or king beds, and each room has a flat-screen TV, complimentary coffee, free Wi-Fi, and coupons for eating in the casino’s restaurant. Many of the rooms have views of the surrounding mountains and the historical town of Cripple Creek.

Dining and Bars

There are two dining options at the Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino:

• Dynamite Dicks: This casual spot opens daily from 7am and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can choose from Belgium waffles, French toast, sandwiches, fried chicken, and more! On the second floor of the building and only steps from the games floor, you will not have to go far for a tasty bite to eat.
• The Down Under: Voted the “Best Fine Dining Spot in Cripple Creek”, The Down Under serves a prime rib and seafood buffet from 4pm – 10pm Thursday to Saturday. The buffet costs $37.99 per person but earn 100 points on your Player’s Card and get a second meal for free!

Online Gambling

Online casino gambling for real money is illegal in Colorado. Therefore, the Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino do not offer any internet slot or poker games. To try your luck as casino games you will have to visit the property or try your luck at another of Colorado’s casinos. However, it is now legal to place online bets on sporting wagers.
